Overview

The designer Edgewater Lodge offers modern rooms with a stunning view over Green Lake and Whistler Mountains. The hotel opened its doors in 1995 and was remodeled in 2005.

A 10-minute ride from Whistler Village, Whistler Olympic Park and Whistler Mountain. The center of Whistler is 4 km away from the venue.

A short walk to parks and mountains as well as ski resorts.

The hotel is located within 100 km distance of Coal Harbour airport.

    It had a nice serene setting on the lake. There is a nice sitting bench by the window to look out at the lake. The restaurent has a lovely view and it was nice that the room came with breakfast.

    The breakfast was a little disappointing as I thought there would be more selection. Other then that I really can't complain. Not all the rooms hav balconies so if you want one you will have to opt for the more expensive room. It would have been nice if they had bathrobes to go to the hot tub.

    Beautiful location, fantastic staff, who went out of their way to accommodate us, lending us their own personal computers, helping with emergency faxes.. A great breakfast was included.. We would stay there again, and again!

    Very nice place, spectacular view, close to Whistler village/ ski hills, good breakfast, which is included in the room cost. Very friendly staff. Pet friendly , it's important for us as owners of 2 miniature poodles.

    Our view from our room was fantastic - we looked over Green Lake towards Whistler / Blackcomb. Absolutely amazing.

    The setting for the hotel is very nice, with a wonderful view from the room. The food in the dining room was superb in the evening. Breakfast was good, but not special.

    We had the misfortune of noisy neighbours, who seemed to delight in walking about with high heeled shoes on the ceramic floors. The noise seemed to carry all too well, particularly when they returned at 4.00 am!!

    Cozy and quaint. Wonderful staff and gorgeous location. It was an awesome Christmas weekend - the food was as well sumptuous! It's a nice gem in whistler! We definitely will come back.

    The rooms and bathrooms could be cleaner and the breakfast (though the pastries were so good) could have a bit more variety I.e meat cuts for added protein apart for the hardboiled eggs.

    Location, location, location....how it faces the glorious view with the advantage of being on a spit of land that is so private and quiet, also how you've situated both the rooms and the dining room to capitalize on that. How you've maintained a 'reasonable' price without overdoing luxury in rooms when what people want is to enjoy the location,location, location! Bed was comfy, bedding attractive also liked the art. Nice choice of soft background music in dining area and well-situated tables. Great meal. Good service.

    We are a family of four and were very happy that lodge staff contacted us to prefer a suite rather then a room. We had lots of space for yhe baby to go down and fully enjoyed all of the meals provided during our stay. The pastries and homemade granola were unbelievable.

    I didnt really think that there was much for the kids to do. Thankfully we brought our own activities to keep them busy. Also baby needs such as highchair were not available. It would make it easier to handle the toddlers if we could sit them down properly. Also, the banquet room closes at 11 pm which is really early if u are attenind a wedding there. We were actually locked out of it and would have enjoyed visiting for a while longer.

    Kylie at the front desk was amazing. Her customer service was memorably friendly and noteworthy. Breakfast is included, which most area hotels do not include, and it was just enough to keep us satisfied for morning skiing. The lake setting is lovely and it's nice to be away from the hustle of the Village.

    It is surprisingly noisy due to the design of the building. We heard loud footsteps of guests and guests talking in the room next door until late all nights making sleep difficult, and that is with ear plugs in. The maid was new and had poor attention to detail. They painted our room during the stay so we kept the window open at night because it smelled of fumes. The maid tossed out our personal soap, not good, and left soiled towels and used glasses in the room. For the price of over $200/night it's not worth the money. If you spend about $120 a night it would be a fine value. The phone in the room didn't work and didn't get fixed during our three night stay.
